The Urbana Lions Club focuses its local sight conservation efforts on a few distinct initiatives:
- Eyeglass Donations: Collecting used eyeglasses and sunglasses for refurbishment and distribution to those in need (similar to Lions' broader Project Right to Sight).
- Vision Screenings: Providing vision screenings and testing for eye diseases within the community.
- Pilot Dogs: Partnering with Columbus Pilot Dogs to assist the visually impaired.
Have used eyeglasses or sunglasses to donate? Contact the Urbana Lions Club or ask a local Lion how you can help.
